Job Description
- Lead the design the on-board strategies for monitoring battery ageing and command designers
- Lead the development and simulation of the models of ageing of the batteries
- Lead design and ensure the validation plans for these requirements and identify/check the suppliers’ plans
- Understand the chemical mechanisms of degradation for the different types of chemistry
- Identify the influential parameters and their sensitivity laws on battery aging
- Request and monitor competitive analysis studies on battery durability
Qualifications
- University Degree (Master of Science) Engineering e.g. mechanical
- Minimum 5 years of experience in system engineering design, development and/or testing
- Experience with MS Office Tools
- Excellent English knowledge
- Minimum experience of the durability/reliability field
- Know battery technologies
- Know system engineering standards
- Know vehicle development processes
- Functioning principles of engineering propulsion systems
- Hardware and Functional Design System Engineering, Calibration & Validation processes and teams (internal & external customers/suppliers)
