Role Summary
The GIA Data Analyst plays a key role in delivering data analytics to support Audits, to monitor existing risks in Experian, and to provide reporting to senior stakeholders. The Data Analyst will have to understand, extract, and transform data from a variety of different systems before coding data analytics tests. They will also be responsible for creating visualizations of the analytics to produce impactful representations of the insight obtained by Data Analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Building scripts and data analytics queries to support the Internal Audit function
- Collaborate closely with colleagues from across Global Internal Audit to plan and deliver data analytics
- Development of data visualization solutions / dashboards based on input from the audit teams
- Map out systems and data sets in the data analytics library for reference and future work
- Transfer appropriate knowledge to the Internal Audit team in relation to data, systems and data analytics queries
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Extensive proven experience with at least one data analytics tool (e.g. Alteryx, SAS, Python)
- Proven experience with at least one BI / visualization tool (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
- Internal Audit experience beneficial
- Extensive proven experience of delivering high quality data analytics
- Strong communication skills
Qualifications
- Degree in subject with high technical content
