ABOUT THE ROLE

With a mix of strong process and creativity, you will help drive new business revenue through outbound opportunity generation. This is an awesome opportunity to truly learn about AI, Digital Transformation, and lead a dynamic team of SDRs. You will be coming into a sales environment where there’s already a prospecting and outreaching machine in place but is in need of a captain to steer the ship. 

Coming into this manager role at  Fusemachines the candidate should thrive in our fast-paced environment, where everyone wears multiple hats. You will engage effectively in written form, as well as conduct high-level conversations with experts in the AI space to fuel our company’s growth. On top of that, you’ll work closely with our own PhDs to help translate their skills into sales value props.

You will also work with our Marketing Team to improve our campaigns and messaging, and you will partner closely with our Sales Team to create and execute sales strategies that include sequence building and other content creation. 

This is a Remote (work from home) Position.

EXPECTATIONS

  • Manage a team of 13 Sales Development Representatives (SDR) in Nepal.
  • Explore and introduce cold calling and video into outbound campaigns.
  • Respond, engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries.
  • Collaborate with sales & marketing team to develop account-based selling strategies
  • Draft cold emails and build out sales strategies that support all prospecting efforts
  • Ability to work with team members across different time zones.
  • Monitor Outreach.io and CRM, to stay current on leads and opportunities
  • Build and maintain reports on the Account Executive sales funnels.
  • Maintain dashboards of weekly key business metrics, including # of sales activities completed, # of sales meetings, etc.
  • Drive attendance for webinars and live seminars, set meetings for conferences.

We believe that upskilling is fundamental to the democratization of AI. As part of our mission, we are partnering with colleges and corporates in different underserved communities to launch a workforce development program with an emphasis on machine learning, using a curriculum created by our own Fusemachines AI experts. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about teaching and training and can deliver these courses to students and professionals. As of now, these courses will be remote, so you can be located anywhere as long as you can take classes in Nepal time.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will work closely with our academics’ team to deliver the courses and training sessions we have developed. You will be responsible for facilitating live class sessions using our provided syllabus, preparing class materials, and providing feedback to all individuals enrolled in this program. 

EXPECTATIONS

  • Review contents (videos, slides, reading, programming notebooks, quizzes, assignments) for classes prepared by the academics team. Prepare and make necessary changes on class contents before classes
  • Deliver live online sessions and learning assessments prepared by Fusemachines with a commitment of 4 hours per week for 12-14 weeks
  • Most of the assignments are autograded, but instructors are required to inspect and grade some assignments/project manually by themselves to give direct feedback to the students
  • Instructors are required to take paper-based examination and grade them 
  • Instructors are required to answer students’ questions on the forum and provide them with necessary feedbacks to help them improve
  • Work with Fusemachines education team to ensure the program is being delivered successfully

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a PhD or Masters in AI or related domains
  • 5+ years of Industry Experience in areas of software development, machine learning and data science or Academics experience
  • Strong theoretical and practical background in machine learning and software development including understanding of deployment, MLOps, Interpretability
  • Interest in workforce development, upskilling technical and business professionals

Job Summary

Fusemachines seeks a seasoned, dynamic VP of Enterprise Sales to lead, develop and execute revenue generation strategies in order to support the overall sales team. You will be a part of a highly collaborative team delivering complex, customized solution sets through technology application and services. The VP of Sales is responsible for meeting all quarterly and annual sales targets, further developing the sales team, defining and executing sales plans and processes, generating leads and avenues for new leads, developing and nurturing enterprise client relations and qualifying the leads.
