Job Description
The Technology and Business intelligence Assistant Manager reports to the Technology Manager for Altisource Field Services.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the BI strategy. This involves setting direction, guiding the planning process to develop the vision and business rationale, and establishing the overall approach.
- Coordinate multiple projects and ensures that the work products and processes of the project teams meet the defined standards. Work with multiple business constituencies, effectively manage their expectations and establish priorities.
- Have a solid understanding of both the business and the technical aspects of BI. Drive the completion of projects within the established scope, while simultaneously planning for and managing unknown future BI requirements in a dynamic environment.
- Sell, evangelize and motivate business users to contribute time and effort. Organize, plan and lead implementation of new processes and technology.
- Identify solutions through technical community collaboration. Develop and design technical architectures and prototypes for solutions (dashboards, portal pages, metrics, etc).
- Communicate effectively with business to understand needs, anticipate requirements more accurately and suggest best solution approach.
- Obtain data from diverse source system platforms and moving it to the BI. Create and develop Power BI visuals and data models. Create different visualizations and advance calculations (Aggregate, Date, Logical, String, Table) using Power BI. Generating Drill through and Drill down reports in Power BI. Create DAX expressions.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience:
- Professional expertise includes SQL and MDX database programming, MS BI stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS), VBA, PowerShell, Power BI and Tableau skills
- Lead Developer required skills
- Proficiency with Analytics tools
- Google Analytics/Universal Analytics, Big Query, Clickstream analysis, with a thorough understanding of implementation and analysis of web metrics analysis at scale
- Data extraction and analysis tools (MS-SQL, MySQL etc.)
- Business Intelligence (BI) methodologies & visualization tools such as PowerBI and Tableau
- Exposure to A/B testing tools such as Google Optimize, Optimizely, Test and Target etc.
- Exposure to
- Tag Management tools such as Google Tag Manager (GTM)
- Experience with Measurement Protocol methodology
- Digital marketing campaign concepts, use of marketing campaign platforms such as Double Click, Google 360 & Adwords
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields from a Tier 1 college. Masters degree or an MBA is a plus, but not required.
- 6+ years in Analytics with a demonstrated track record of successful problem solving in a consumer technology company.
