About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and creative Community/Media Intern to join our Marketing team at Bloomreach! The work you do will impact consumers in dozens of different verticals in the e-commerce space. This position offers invaluable experience in content creation, community building, digital marketing, podcasting and e-commerce, and also provides a unique opportunity to contribute to and learn from a passionate and committed team.
This is a Part-Time Internship position with an expected duration of 6 months. The hourly rate for this position is $23/hour.
Your job will be to:
- Create and repurpose engaging, and impactful content for our community slack channelfull of customers from brands across the globe.
- Build a content calendar to ensure ongoing engaging communication with our community and Ambassadors.
- Spearheadinnovative initiatives to energize our community, including organizing contests, meetups, and interactive polls, to foster a vibrant and engaged community atmosphere.
- Assist in the development and implementation of our social media strategy, which includes ideating around videos, blogs, social media, and other types of content
- Spearhead the management of key projects with cross-functional teams
- Oversee the project management aspects of The Commerce Experience Podcast, including guest planning, outreach, and coordinating preparation calls and recordings to maintain a consistent content schedule.
- Play a key role in managing our social media comments and community engagement opportunities on our social media platforms.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to produce fresh ideas for content
- Actively support the management of community milestones and engagements – identifying and leveraging opportunities for Ambassador involvement in line with strategic objectives.
- Ensure that stakeholders stick to brand guidelines so we can achieve brand consistency across all platforms.
Your success story will be:
- Quickly understanding the Bloomreach brand positioning, voice, and tone guidelines, and then actively working on the aforementioned projects and teams
- Owning projects assigned to you and working as independently as possible (when applicable) in managing them
You have the following experience and qualities:
- A background in marketing, communications, journalism, or related fields, with a strong interest in community management and digital marketing.
- Excellent organizational skills, capable of effectively juggling multiple tasks.
- A creative mindset, eager to propose and implement innovative community engagement strategies.
- Exceptional communication abilities, comfortable with managing digital communication platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
