In the role of Principal / Lead Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital product solutions. You will lead a dynamic team of product managers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of digital healthcare solutions at Pager+Onlife
A core responsibility of this role will be bringing innovative well-being and care solutions to market – which includes the product life cycle from strategy, ideation through build, delivery, and ongoing value validation. Working with internal and external stakeholders, we will ensure Pager+Onlife is perceived as innovative, effective, and the partner of choice when it comes to engaging consumers and helping them along their healthcare journeys.
Product Management partners very closely with Sales, Client Success, Marketing, Operations, Clinical and Technology. To be effective, the Product Manager must thoroughly learn the products and be able to convey complex concepts in relatively simple terms. This role reports to the VP of Product.
Responsibilities:
• Define and execute a strategic product roadmap in alignment with the company's vision and target markets
• Identify market trends, user needs, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy and create valuable solutions to lead the market.
• Lead and mentor a team of product managers, setting clear goals and priorities.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the product team.
• Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to launch and ongoing enhancements.
• Serve as the CEO of you or your teams product domains and supporting features or services
• Set long-term direction of product domains and associated products
• Develop unparalleled familiarity with the markets we compete in
• Be a thought leader and find solutions for business problems
• Be a thought leader in the business problems that can be solved with your solution(s)
• Lead the creation and maintenance of product requirement documents
• Define solution value – including qualitatively and quantitatively measures that defend the value of your product to the organization and market
• Lead or support strategic planning with engineering team and product leadership
• Contribute to problem and solution discovery efforts by conducting internal stakeholder and customer interviews and research and developing and running experiments to validate product concepts.
• Drive Agile ceremonies, including planning, grooming, demos, and retrospectives.
• Write stories that articulate work to be done by Engineering in support of solutions and production support.
• Work closely with Engineering to ensure solutions are ultimately delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Work closely with key stakeholder team to understand the business and adapt solutions as they evolve.
• Support Customer Support, Sales Enablement, and Product Marketing teams in the development of feature descriptions and new release content
• Perform validation testing of production releases, bug fixes, and feature requests.
• Participate and/or support client business reviews as needed
• Support Responses to RFP’s as needed
• Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions, optimize product performance, and drive product improvements.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks, such as security and regulatory compliance, in product development.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Related Bachelors degree or additional related equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of relevant product management experience in healthcare
- Experience in Enterprise Saas
- Experience in AI / Generative AI and Large Language Modeling (LLM)
- Direct experience in product management, including defining & owning the product road map & design
- Experience creating user stories and prioritizing your specific product backlog
- Experience managing multiple vendors
- Experience in owning the product lifecycle
- Past experience utilizing data and outcomes for decision making
- Strong MS Office capabilities
For Colorado, Nevada, and New York-based employment: In accordance with the Pay Transparency laws the pay range for this position is $180,000 to $200,000. The compensation package may include stock options, plus a range of medical, dental, vision, financial, generous PTO, stipends for professional development, and wellness benefits. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. The range listed only applies to Colorado, Nevada, and New York.
