Responsibilities
- Conduct manual and automated testing procedures necessary to validate expected/desired behavior and resolve unintended consequences/edge cases.
- Work closely with our Development/Product team to ensure that QA can sign-off on items within a sprint; to identify and flag QA requirements (test environment, scope, etc.); and ensure that tickets are delivered to QA in a timely manner or are escalated if missing.
- Provide support to the Development team during the release life cycle to ensure the highest rate of success.
- Work closely with our Support/Operations team to clearly identify defects/features when they are reported by customers/clients.
- Track issues throughout the entire release life cycles.
- Clearly document Test Plans and requirements in a test management tool, such as TestRail. Leverage knowledge of STLC and SDLC during sprints to build manual & automated test suites per regression, smoke, integration, and system testing.
- Collaborate with offshore team members, assign tasks for releases and send test results to stakeholders.
- Work proactively to understand project deadlines and execute deliverables on time.
- Provide 100% QA coverage to ensure that every variation of features or requirements are tested.
- Provide QA reports to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related/equivalent plus 4 years experience as a Test Engineer or related.
- Must have 4 years experience working in a continuous integration environment, SDLC, STLC, mobile testing, Github, testing web services and API
Location: May telecommute from any location in the US
Salary: $121,285
