Wayfair is looking for a talented, collaborative, and entrepreneurial-minded individual to produce & maintain a strong training portfolio as part of our Global Partner Support Embed team. As a Training Specialist, you will play an integral role in facilitating and executing employee training & SOP maintenance as well as owning the Quality Assurance process. You will get the flexibility to design and organize training courses by combining creativity, research and analysis of existing materials. Curriculum planning and enrollment coordination will provide you an opportunity to work with other departmental professionals and employees on an interpersonal level. What You’ll Do:
- Promulgate Wayfair culture within Global Partner Support and lead by example
- Create high quality content and training material to train, coach, and mentor new hires and educate internal teams on Global Partner Support workflows
- Own, design, and maintain a robust Quality Assurance program to drive consistency across Global Partner Support’ workflows and provide feedback and process improvements based on results
- Facilitate and develop new hire onboarding experience up to 90 day milestone, including 30/60/90 day check ins and process training, to lead new team members to optimal performance in accordance with network standards
- Drive consistent training and operational standardization across Global Partner Support
- Prioritize, communicate, and pivot workload based on dynamic business requirements
- Engage appropriate partners to develop, implement, and execute training related projects
- Work cross functionally with other teams and internal stakeholders to ensure best practices
- Complete/hold cross training to support operational need
- Proven ability to anticipate challenges and be decisive - you always get in front of issues, mitigate risk and have no problem making decisions quickly in support of operational requirements
What You'll Need:
- Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred or comparable experience
- Process-oriented with strong analytical and excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and shift priorities quickly and often
- Strong and consistent attention to detail
- Motivated self-starter with a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to partner and work well with leadership and motivate frontline teams
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Experience working both within a team and as an independent contributor
- Experience utilizing Google Suite (Google Website, Google Sheets, etc)
