At Autonet Import, the network engineer is responsible for maintaining the
networks and systems that keep our organization running. From maintaining
security to supervising network updates and training users, the network Engineer
is not only IT support but also the thread that connects all operations. Deep
technological expertise with a wide range of computer systems, hardware, and
software is essential for the network engineer to excel in this role and help drive
Autonet Group forward.
Objectives of this role
- Assist in network design, implementation, and maintenance
- Provide network support across organizational operating systems
- Maintain stable and consistent connectivity across all network computers
- Prepare, implement, and monitor disaster procedures and recovery
Responsibilities
- Configure, monitor, and manage company networking infrastructure,
ensuring proper performance and reliability
- Assist in managing all network and physical security solutions
- Recommend, test, and implement system and security upgrades
- Consistently monitor and troubleshoot network stability and performance
- Assist with the analysis, design, and implementation of new equipment and
topologies
- Write technical support documentation for network systems and
applications
Required skills and qualifications
- 5 or more years of experience in a network engineer role
- Comprehensive knowledge of networking concepts and computing
infrastructures
- Experience configuring and maintaining Cisco and HP network hardware
including switches, routers, Wireless controllers, and firewalls.
- Experience with leading server management and monitoring tools
- Ability to utilize diagnostic tools, service aids, and other product
information to resolve equipment failures
- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory and Office 365
- Experience handling network security issues (viruses, malware, social
engineering)
- WordPress and basic web design skills (JavaScript, CSS, HTML)
- Good communication, organizational and time management skill
- Ability to work in a multi-task work environment, with constant
interruptions and distractions while maintaining and meeting strict
deadlines for projects
