Core responsibilities:
- Lead challenging engagements that assess the security of modern enterprise IT environments
- Work with customers, provide subject matter expertise, and leave their security better than when we found it
- Optimize existing enterprise offerings, update our methodologies and deliverables, and help grow the skillsets of the team
- Generate thought leadership that helps establish Praetorian as the premier enterprise security company
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience
- Experience with threat modeling and asset risk analysis
- Experience with offensive security, attack patterns, penetration testing, and red teaming
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- BS in computer science, engineering, physics, or mathematics
Desired qualifications:
- Prior security consulting experience
- Familiarity with software maturity models such as OpenSAMM, BSIMM, and SDL
- Familiarity with security design patterns, cloud blueprints, and common architectures
- Familiarity with common development practices such as waterfall, agile, and scrum
- Prior background in software development with an ability to cut code a plus
- OSCP, OSEE, or eCPTX certifications
- Prior coding experience with an ability to cut code a major plus
- Prior security consulting experience a major plus
