How will this role have an impact?
The Senior Regional Vice-President will have the opportunity to change health care across this country. Their work has a purpose; the capacity to strengthen the financial stability of some of our most important health care clients, improve the quality of life of thousands of patients, and bring joy back into the workplace. The Vice-President of Strategic Accounts will act in the role of a trusted advisor, almost as a member of each organization’s C-Suite, to identify improvement opportunities, share pertinent data and information, and be responsive to their questions and needs. The Senior Regional Vice-President will serve as the main liaison to Business Development, providing consulting services, sharing insight to potential clients on operational activities, and conducting assessments of readiness for new business leads, leading to business growth.
This role will report to our Vice-President of Value-Based Care.
What will you do?
- Participate in client pre-launches and launches as scheduled to deliver content and begin to build personal and professional relationships with each of their clients
- Drive deployment of Caravan Health programs and products that will generate consistent and growing improvements in total patient and cost management for assigned clients
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned C-Suite members for items such as routine questions and issues; compliance with resolutions, contract issues; etc.
- Support client performance improvement and system transformation in service of effective patient care and total cost of care reduction.
- As part of the Delivery Team, develop Strategy Meeting agendas and packets
- Lead assigned Strategy Meetings, including delivery of the data packet, providing the key information and opportunity the client needs to develop and execute the clear next steps to meet their goals
- Track goals from their Strategy Meeting action plans and create accountability structure with clients related to the identified goals.
- Leverage Voice of Customer survey information for greater impact in serving and supporting clients
- Serve as the first point of escalation when client issues arise from the Delivery, Compliance, Legal, Accounting, and other Caravan Health departments
- Track each client’s results, making adjustments as needed to improve results. Assist delivery team in identifying key clients to target for improvement. Communicate results, wins, and concerns to the VP of Customer Success
- Work in conjunction with the EVP when a client is identified at risk or in remediation to get them back on track
- Serve as Team Lead in a matrix relationship to the Regional Manager, Pop Health Manager, and Clinical Lead.
- Serves as the Regional Management lead on all consulting agreements.
- Provide references, attend recruitment calls, and provide BD support services to key leads.

- Provides education of BD activities to the Regional Management Team.
- Attend prospecting calls with assigned BD Rep. to identify targets, discuss lead progress, and develop strategy/next steps for each lead
- Evaluate lead opportunities with marketing
- Round with assigned CEOs for leads
- Conduct and assist Vice President of VBC and Regional Managers with contract process as needed
- Attend sales/speaking events
- Owns the renewal process for assigned clients, including client communication, analysis of placement opportunities, placement recommendation to client, and contract execution.
We are looking for someone with:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university: Business, Business Administration, Health care, Health Care Administration, Public Health or related field. Masters strongly preferred.
- At least 5 years in health care, with experience in an Accountable Care Organization, consulting, financial, network development, sales or managed care strongly preferred.
- Proficient with tools such as CRMs, Microsoft Excel, Word, SmartSheet, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel as needed (estimate average of 1-2x monthly to launches, on-site Strategy and Relationship Meetings, Quality Improvement Workshops, business development opportunities, and other Client meetings as requested).
- At least one year experience as a Regional Vice President.
- Prior consulting experience is strongly preferred.
The base salary hiring range for this position is $150,000 to $180,000. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
