About the Role:
The Vice President, Sales Strategy, Operations & Enablement, will lead the Sales Operations organization toward strategic goals and operational effectiveness. This leader will oversee the design and execution of sales goals and compensation plans that incentivize the sales team to reach its goals. This person will report to the SVP of Sales. This position is remote.
You Will:
- Implement scalable, repeatable, and data-driven processes based on industry best practices to foster continuous process improvement
- Build a team of outstanding Sales Operations & Enablement talent and assign quotas and other objectives to ensure the company’s financial success
- Scale operations and influence Sales Organizational structure
- Manage processes for sales forecast across the company, sales expense forecasts, order management, global deal desk, global deal support, sales compensation, and field readiness.
- Partner with senior sales and executive leadership to identify opportunities to simplify the sales process through optimization and automation.
- Focus on increasing efficiency (yield) and ensuring reliable results
- Work with Human Resources, Finance, and senior sales leadership to design sales incentive compensation programs that provide market-competitive pay, reinforce sales organization strategy, and align with business and sales organization objectives.
- Oversee the annual planning process for sales in collaboration with corporate FP&A.
- Identify areas for improvement and cost savings and risks to meeting planned forecast in revenues or expenses.
You Have:
- 7+ years of success in providing strategic guidance and operational oversight in Sales Operations (forecasting, budgeting, compensation plans, analytics, tactical programs, etc.) within an enterprise software sales environment. This includes
- 10+ years of leadership experience in sales
- Expertise in contract review and negotiations
- Experience with CRM systems and analytics around sales pipeline modeling such as Salesforce, Clari, Xactly Incent, Host Analytics, etc.
- Proficient in MS Office and/or G-Suite
