This position can be office-based or fully remote from one of the following countries: Germany, Spain, Ireland, the Netherlands, or the UK.

Our PTECH Analytics team utilizes data to optimize and maximize our product development and engineering activities with data. The team works closely with our engineering organization to improve processes and drive innovation. Your main stakeholders in this role will be all PTECH Senior Leadership.
Role Responsibilities: What you'll do
Insights: You and your team create insights and enable teams to easily consume them. Those insights help achieve our mission as a product and engineering organization.
Leadership: You build, manage, and coach a team of data people. You make them highly impactful, productive, and motivated by their mission.
Strategy: You will develop a long-term strategy for capturing and leveraging data to create a competitive product that drives growth. You will identify and prioritize the most important data products and initiatives that align with our business priorities and customer needs.
Stakeholders: You align with all stakeholders to ensure scalable data activities, especially with product executives, engineering leaders, and our central data team.
Influence: You proactively guide our executive team with product data insights to drive strategic initiatives across the organization.
Infrastructure: You build and lead a highly scalable data infrastructure that serves a large company, and work closely with our engineering organization to ensure that the infrastructure meets the needs of our data-driven product development process.
Data Science: You implement a culture of experimentation with Data Science, and your team is responsible for conducting experiments to validate hypotheses, improving feature adoption, and driving innovation.
Role Requirements: What you need to succeed
You have a minimum of 8 years of experience leading Product data teams that have delivered measurable business results through their insights and data products.
You have experience leading, building and scaling high-performing teams, with a focus on developing team members and fostering a culture of innovation and experimentation.
You have proficiency in Python and SQL, as well as experience with cloud-based data processing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
You have experience in cross-functional partnerships among teams of Engineering, Design, Product, Data Engineering with a successful track record of influencing cross org decisions.
You have experience building and scaling data platforms and infrastructure that support product development and engineering teams.
You have a strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, tools, and architectures, and how data can be used to improve product development and engineering outcomes.
