The Impact You'll Make! As a Software Developer (all genders) at Experian, you'll play a vital role in our mission to innovate and grow. You will:
- Develop and maintain cutting-edge features in both front-end and back-end areas, ensuring continuous improvement and evolution of our products.
- Actively contribute to the development of technical concepts, creating seamless solutions to enhance our user experience.
- Implement interfaces for seamless integration with external applications, bridging the gap between our products and the world.
- Conduct rigorous developer tests using JUnit, Jenkins, and Continuous Integration, ensuring the highest quality and reliability of our software components.
- Optimize and refactor existing software components, keeping our systems in top shape.
- Thrive in a well-structured development team with agile working methods like SCRUM, adapting and contributing to our fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Engage in our communities of practice, focusing on areas such as architecture, databases, data security, or QA, expanding your skills and knowledge in the process.
Qualifikationen
Our ideal candidate is humble, hungry, and smart. You're someone who is eager to learn, open to collaboration, and passionate about making a difference. The qualities we're looking for include:
- Degree in computer science or comparable professional training with experience in software development.
- Proficiency in an object-oriented high-level language, preferably Java Standard and Enterprise Edition.
- Familiarity with frameworks like Hibernate, Spring, or Wicket.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases (e.g., MS SQL Server).
- Practical knowledge of web services (Rest or SOAP) is a plus.
- Experience with agile working methods and tools like Jira/Confluence.
- Structured and analytical approach to work, with a strong motivation for quality and excellence.
- Proactive, open, and cooperative attitude when interacting with team members.
- Curiosity and a drive for continuous learning and development.
- Impeccable German and a strong command of English.
