Leading the Quality team this role is pivotal in ensuring adherence to quality standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering collaboration across departments for enhanced product performance and customer satisfaction. 

Responsibilities and objectives: 

  • Provide leadership and direction to the Quality Team, ensuring efficient    hardware analysis of nonconformities in production.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities related to processes and products, actively seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in advanced products analysis and troubleshooting, leveraging expertise to identify and address hardware issues effectively.
  • Support the validation and process of hardware development by integrating lessons learned and industrial requirements, driving towards optimal product performance and reliability.
  • Lead or participate in managing nonconformities arising from customer, supplier or internal concerns, implementing robust corrective and preventive actions to uphold quality standards.
  • Develop toolings as needed for control purposes, contributing to the enhancement of machines capabilities and efficiency.
  • Conduct product audits and monitor improvement action plans to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee certification audits and improvement activities, working towards continuous quality enhancements and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead new projects Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities, ensuring thorough planning and execution to meet quality objectives and timelines.
  • Manage (PPAP) documentation, overseeing analysis and management to secure approval for new products and engineering releases.
  • Lead problem-solving initiatives and proactively address process variations, implementing strategies to minimize defects and optimize production processes for improved quality outcomes.
  • Experience working with mechanical/electrical equipment.
  • Industrial environment experience and desired in the automotive electronics sector.
  • Minimum experience of 3-5 years in coordination in a similar position.
  • Familiarized with IATF16949 Quality standards and APQP.
  • High level knowledge of problem-solving methodology (5 whys, 8Ds, statistical analytics, etc.)
  • Desired knowledge of OEM quality systems (Ford Company, Nissan/Renault, VW Group, BMW, Mercedes, etc. ...)
  • Quality Tools desired knowledge of PPAPs (specially FMEA and Control Plan).
  • Microsoft Office tools knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Altium Designer software knowledge (preferable).
  • Electronics circuit simulation software knowledge (LTSPICE).
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English is a plus.
